Construction on the Church Home Dining Room and Kitchen is complete
On July 14, 2021, Church Home held a “GRAND OPENING" for the residents of our newly remodeled Dining Room. The beautifully renovated space includes doubling the kitchen size and a 50% increase in the Dining Room space.
The challenge of the pandemic forced our residents to dine in their rooms for 16 months. We utilized the time as an opportunity to make an impact and embark on this renovation project.
The dining experience at Church Home has always been about fellowship, family, and friends. Not only are residents receiving nourishment for their bodies but also nourishment to their souls through daily interaction over a wonderful meal. This will also be a place where residents can gather together to do group activities, whether it's board games, or Bible studies, singing, and be able to interact with our local churches that come out and support our residents.
The Grand Opening of the newly renovated Kitching and Dining space was a great day of celebration!
We were pleased to have Officials on hand for the Grand Opening.
(l-r) Russel Carlson, Georgia Healthcare Association Vice President of Government Affairs; State Senator Larry Walker; Glenn Smith, Church Home Chief Operating Officer; Kathy Gibbs, Church Home Administrator; Chip Bishop, Church Home Board of Managers Chairman; Randall Walker, Mayor, City of Perry; State Representative Shaw Blackmon; and Tony Marshall, Georgia Healthcare Association President & CEO.
Church Home is committed to seeking out opportunities to enhance the lives of our residents.
Thank you to all for your support and patience during these past 16 months. We look forward to enjoying this beautiful Kitchen, Dining, and multipurpose space.
